Leech Lake Gaming Selects Konami Casino Management System

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (February 16, 2012)

Konami Gaming, Inc. has been selected to replace Leech Lake Gaming’s casino management system with the Konami Casino Management System (KCMS), announced Clark Warren, Director of System Sales and Marketing at Konami. The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe’s three casino properties, Northern Lights, Palace and White Oak Casinos, are almost ready to roll out KCMS across approximately 1,800 slot machines.

According to Leech Lake Gaming’s Gaming Director Jim Morales, “Konami has proven to be a trusted business partner who delivers on their promises. In addition to managing our core gaming business processes, KCMS is providing us with the technological innovations and efficiencies we need for continued growth. For example, KCMS provides us with a one-card loyalty program usable across our three properties that allow us to create more powerful bonusing campaigns to encourage and reward our customers more than we’ve ever done before. This will please our current customers and, we believe, attract new ones.”

KCMS is an industry-leading casino management system best known for its innovative marketing capabilities, ease of upgrades, unparalleled reliability, and commitment to customer service. Konami’s proprietary technology, coupled with its dedicated support staff ensure that casino operators can maintain focus on managing and analyzing their gaming operations, implementing innovative marketing campaigns, and driving their business forward.

Leech Lake Assistant Gaming Director George Goggleye said, “For us, customer service is just as important as functionality and with Konami, we get the best of both. We’re leaving a prominent management system largely because of poor service and support. Konami’s commitment to these areas is obvious and factored heavily in our decision to install KCMS.

“We were also beginning to see our casinos fall behind our competitors in terms of what our casino management system offered. The change to Konami will allow us to leapfrog ahead of the competition to offer the latest promotions and greatly enhance the overall guest experience.”
