Companies working cooperatively on Networked Gaming initiatives featuring Bally's iVIEW Display Manager, Download Configuration Manager LAS VEGAS, November, 2008 Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, and casino management software for the global gaming industry, today announced that Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. and Konami Gaming, Inc. have agreed to help Bally showcase its award-winning iVIEW Display Manager (DM) at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Nov. 18-20 with demonstrations of the product's picture-in-picture capability on their gaming machines.
Visitors Bally, Aristocrat, and konami's G2E exhibits will see live demonstrations of iVIEW DM, an intelligent controller that allows casinos to present marketing, system, and other content on the main game screen, the top game display, even the overhead display, with picture-inpicture capability without interrupting game play on the traditional base game.
iVIEW DM, which is both backward and forward compatible, is based on Gaming Standards Association (GSA) common protocols and can be used with any gaming machines and systems that support computing and gaming industry technology standards
