Konami Gaming, Inc. Installs SYNKROS™ and True-Time Tournaments™ at New Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
Las Vegas, NV — November 12, 2013
Downtown Grand Las Vegas opened on Sunday, October 27 with Konami Gaming, Inc.’s SYNKROS casino management system installed to assist with the management of gaming and entertainment operations.
“Downtown Grand, by virtue of its size and location, is playing a pivotal role in the continued revitalization of the area,” said Clark Warren, director of system sales at Konami. “Downtown Grand offers what CEO Seth Schorr describes as ‘urban hospitality,’ and we are proud to have been selected as a partner to help the property manage and deliver a first-rate customer experience in downtown Las Vegas – one of the most exciting and dynamic areas of the city today.”
Located on 3rd Street between Stewart and Ogden Avenues in the Downtown3rd entertainment district, Downtown Grand boasts 634 hotel rooms, nearly 600 slot machines and 30 table games. Guests also enjoy a variety of food and drink from 12 unique bars and restaurants throughout the property.
Downtown Grand breaks the rules of conventional casino and hotel design by integrating with the area and encouraging guests to explore nearby downtown venues and attractions outside the property. “We commend Downtown Grand’s progressive philosophy, and we are excited their gaming executives chose the KONAMI SYNKROS System to deliver a superior customer experience,” said Warren.
“The success of Downtown Grand is dependent on building a loyal customer base,” said Schorr, CEO of Downtown Grand as well as Fifth Street Gaming, the company overseeing management of the hotel, casino and gaming operations. “We believe the SYNKROS system differentiates us from the market because of its advanced marketing functionality and ease of use. The ability to offer advanced bonus features and new entertainment experiences like True-Time Tournaments is a clear benefit to our guests. We appreciate the many features of the SYNKROS system that deliver a richer and more interactive gaming experience than what is currently offered at many other casinos. We sought a system from a company that is committed to customer service, so we are pleased about the fully integrated solution and unparalleled support offered by KONAMI and its SYNKROS system.”
“SYNKROS enables Downtown Grand to target and reward guests who are interested in gambling, dining, and socializing in the property’s downtown casino environment,” said Warren. “SYNKROS allows the property to send targeted offers and run promotions with a range of customized bonuses designed to create an entertaining atmosphere and deepen customer relationships.”
